Ever get stuck at a spiritual fork in the road wondering which way to go? Well, for me, the truth is that all of my options usually promise something I desire, and they are all possible realities. As I imagine myself taking one option, I create that reality.
When we are given choices, we begin creating multiple realities for ourselves. I don't believe the Universe particularly cares which road we choose.

I have been thinking about what creates vindictive thoughts and revenge lately, because I was recently accused of having them. It all seems like a truly sad venture to have your heart set on hurting another person. I understand that wanting to get even with someone is a human emotion, but to what end? I am not telling you to let people slap you around, and at the same time I am not the person to say to get your revenge.

As the end of our 6-month Mexican Tour draws near, I'm feeling so grateful for everything we've learned and experienced. From third- world country sadness and despair, to the abundance of family love, nature like we've never seen and the intricate details of the personalities around us. It can be a rough place, and we chose to embrace everything we could in the towns we visited.

We live and learn in a balance between home school and un-school. We do have some set lessons and routine that helps things go smoothly-- although most of the time you can find us learning math by counting the hermit crabs atop the steep hill.
Doug and I write stories for Dougie that incorporate science, religion, math, social studies, history, art, etc.--so that he learns reading comprehension while getting a juicy story.
